Born in San Antonio Texas in 1982, Jared began acting lessons when he was 12. In 1999 he won Fox TV's "Claim To Fame" Contest and got to present at the Teen Choice Awards.
He graduated from high school in 2000, and joined the cast of "The Gilmore Girls" 2000 on which he stayed a cast member until 2004. Between then an starting on supernatural, Jared stared in two horror movies, House of Wax and Cry Wolf.
