Jensen Ackles


 Jensen was born 1979 in Dalles Texas. He began to model when he was a child, and decided he wanted to be an actor once he graduated in 1996 from Lloyd V. Berkner High School in Richardson Texas. His career began with a role on the popular soap, "All My Children" for which he won the 1998 Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Male Newcomer. He left the show in 2000 and joined the cast of the sci-fi drama "Dark Angel" which was written by James Cameron, and also stared Jessica Alba. His character was Jessica's character, Max's brother. He was killed off early, but Jensen returned as a clone and stuck with the series until it was cancelled in 2002.

After Dark Angel, Jensen had roles in Dawsons Creek, and Still Life. Until he was given a staring role on the WB's highly successful show, Smallville. Jensen had original auditioned for the role of Clark Kent and lost out to Tom Welling. His character stayed for a season on the show, and was killed off. After Smallville, Jensen won one of the two lead roles on the WB's new show, Supernatural.
