story so far

SEASON 1
Sam and Dean Winchester are two brothers, who's mother Mary was killed mysteriously by a demon when Sam was 6 months old and Dean was 4. When his wife died, the boy's dad, John made it his quest to get revenge upon the thing that killed his wife and began hunting the supernatural. Training his boys like warriors John's sons became supernatural hunters also. Sam unhappy with this life, left his family and went to Stanford University where he had a new normal life, and a girl friend, Jessica. When Dean comes to see him, he reveals that John has went missing. Together the brothers head of in search of their father, but instead of finding him, they find his Journal. A Notebook where he keeps tracks of all the evil things he has hunted. When Sam returns home to Stanford he finds Jessica has been killed in the same way as his mother. This is the push Sam needs to get back with his brother and together they try and find John.

The Boy's finally find John, and the Demon they have been hunting for all these years. When it possesses John we realise why his wife died, the Demon was after Sam, because of his psycic gifts. The Demon escapes, and the Winchesters are left for dead as they are hit by an oncoming Truck.

SEASON 2
The Winchester family are in hospital and Dean lies in a coma stuck between life and death. Knowing that his son is going to die, John makes a deal with the demon in which he trades his life, and the Colt, for Deans life. When John dies his sons are disheartened in their fight and Dean struggles knowing that his father gave up his life for him. Sam finds a message on their fathers voice mail that leads them to The Roadhouse where they meet Ellen and her Daughter Jo who help them in their fight.

Dean is also forced to carry around the secret that his father told him about Sam, which is that if he could not save Sam, he would have to kill him. Once learning this news, Sam begins to doubt his place in the world, and is eventually taken by the demon along with other special children.

The special children are forced to fight until only one survives, the one that is left will use the colt to open up a Devil's Gate - a portal to hell. When Sam is killed, Dean is forced to make a deal similar to the one his father made, and he is given a year left to live and Sam is brought back to life. Together the brothers force the Devil's Gate closed, and finally kill the demon that killed their mother.

SEASON 3
With only a year left to live, and thousands of demon's escaping the Debil's Gate, Sam and Dean are fighting a loosing war against Demons. A mysterious woman, Ruby, appears offering an extra hand in battle and a way to save Dean. Ruby turns out to be a demon herself, fighting on the side of good, but she lied about knowing how to help Dean so she could get close to Sam. Sam and Dean also learn a new demonic power is rising who takes the form of a little girl, Lilith, who wants to kill Sam and also holds the contract for Dean's soul.

As the season draws to a close, both Sam and Dean are desperate to find Lilith and save Dean's soul, but when they confront her, they are too late and Dean is killed by Hell Hounds and his soul taken to hell.
